Let's Mesh around!

Unless I have been sleeping under a rock, I never quite knew that mesh was one of the trends this spring/summer  until I was thumbing through the pages of the August edition of Instyle Magazine a week ago.  Prior to reading the magazine, I saw this top in TJ Maxx and thought that it was cute and vibrate, but wasn't completely sold on it until I saw the clearance price of $7.00.  At that point, it was SOLD...lol.  At the time of the purchase, I wasn't sure  as to how I would style it or what I would wear it with, so it hung in my closet for a while.  After looking at a few different options in the magazine, I thought that I would go for a semi-casual look by pairing it with jeans and a bold piece necklace.  What do you think of the mesh trend?  How would you have styled this top?  Please comment.  I really would love your feedback.

What I wore: Night out in LA

Happy Tuesday Loves,

Last weekend, hubby and I was invited to help celebrate with friends for their 10 year wedding anniversary in LA. I was so excited because it was my first time visiting LA.  It was absolutely AMAZING!  We had so much fun just relaxing, eating, shopping, more eating and did I mention EATING....LOL.

Our first night there, we had dinner at the famous Crustaceans Restaurant.  It is one of the hottest restaurants in Beverly Hills that serves the most delicious Asian Cuisine.  It is mostly famous for their garlic noodles which are so good!  If you ever visit, you must try the garlic noodles if nothing else.  I wanted to wear something chic, yet simple and comfy so I decided to shop around for a nice jumpsuit/romper. I remember a couple of friends and I had a movie night and one of them had on this particular jumpsuit from Express.  When I visited the store, I was looking for it in black but they were all out of my size.  Therefore, I just settled for the same olive green one here.  Hope you guys are inspired...Smooches!!

I kept my make up look quite simple as well, with a soft brown and green smokey eye and a pop of color on the lips.  At first I planned to wear an orange lip, but I just could not resist the urge to wear the infamous Flat Out Fabulous. I love it!!!

We had several different appetizers, however this was my entre for the night-garlic noodles and chicken meatballs as well as this delicious cheese cake.

Neutrals & Green

Happy Hump Day!!!

I want to first apologize for my lack of post, but life has been busy.  Just everyday life with working and kids can get crazy and on top of that so much extra things has been happening very close together.  We just recently celebrated my baby boy's 1st birthday, my husband and I celebrated our 4 year wedding anniversary, and we have been taking a few small trips.  Soooo.........that is the reason for the hiatus, but all for good reason.  BUT I am back so lets get into this post. This entire outfit was centered around my accessories.  I ordered these green pumps a while back at Sammydress.com and really could not wait to wear them, but I was unsure of what I wanted to wear them with. I decided to go for a neutral look with a pop of color.  Hope you enjoy!!

I added the green and yellow earrings for a little contrast at the top.  I am so  glad I did!! It was perfect!
