Sparkling Wine

I hope you had a wonderful weekend.  I have really been in to the wines, burgundy, oxbloods or whatever you want to call it lately.  The color has been dominating the fashion scene during the fall and winter seasons for a while now whether its clothing, accessories or makeup.  Because I love the color so much anyway, it was a no brainer that I would incorporate it into my Fall wardrobe. 

 

I recently purchased this knit vest via an online thrift store....YES...an online thrift store!! I am not sure how I came across the website but it will definitely not be the last time.  The website is called webthriftstore.com.  It has a variety of items to choose from high end brands to the more budget friendly brands of clothing, jewelry, accessories, etc.  What was also so great about this website is if you sign up and make your first purchase, you will receive a $15 credit.   Well, that was right up my alley!!! The price of this vest was only $15 so it only cost me $5 bucks for shipping. YAYYYY!!!

 The braided detail is what I love the most about this vest and lets not forget the sparkle.........:)

Plaid

Hello Ladies & Gents,

 

Plaid is by far one of the essential Fall must haves that I really didn't care much for until last season.  When I thought of plaid, I thought of the old farmer in the red, white, and black plaid shirt tucked in overalls.  Well, when I saw the different colors and styles of plaid, I wanted to start incorporating it some how into my wardrobe. So glad I did!!! This was my casual work look on Friday. Hope you enjoy!!

Hellooo,

I cannot believe we are approaching the end of the year already.  It may sound cliché, but literally, where did the year go???  Holiday shopping is  about to be in full swing, the stores will be a mess, and lets not talk about the traffic.  Overall, I do enjoy the excitement of it all during the holidays. Anyway, so the title of this post was all because of my son and husband.  As I was getting dressed this morning, my 7 year old said that I looked like a "little police lady"....lol.  Then, my husband said I looked like I was in the Air Force.  Since the both of them obviously thought I looked good in "uniform"....lol, I just had to go with it. If I was apart of the armed forces, I would definitely look like this if I could...lol.  Hope you enjoy!!

 I really love this skirt, however, I hate that it rises up and I constantly keep having to  pull it down.

 Sorry for the peek-a-boo action.  I promise I didn't realize it until after the fact!!!

Whew buddy, she is a thick-um....I must do some walking or better yet running....lol.
