Black Out

Happy Hump Day!

and Happy New Year!!  oh and guess what!!! (In my Bruno Mars voice)  IT'S MY BIRTHDAY!!!! lol.  Yes today is my birthday and what better way to celebrate it than an outfit post and connecting with my fellow blogger boos and babes.  I am extremely grateful for another year of life, lessons, goals, and EVERYTHING that 2018 has in store.  2017 was a bit challenging but I pushed through with a smile on my face and laughter in my soul and I told 2018 that I am coming for you...lol!! Now lets talk about this look.  I have been loving these two-piece sets that has been seen all over the place.  Of course I am not really the matchy type but these sets are really giving me my life.  Most of the time when you think about a one-piece or a matching set you may think BORING, but when you add some ruffles, furs, shimmer, or anything that adds texture and interesting details, then I am all for it!  Plus, being a mother and wife, I need to be able to grab something easy, comfortable, and carefree, yet cute, fun,  and fashionable.  One thing about this piece is its versatility.  It can be paired with sneakers or you can break up the set and rock the top or bottom individually.  Well, I hope you all enjoy this look.  Hope your New Year is filled with many blessings !!

**When your 10 year old is your photographer and says "Do something fun Mama"....lol..yea FAIL!!

Metallic Two-Piece

Happy Tuesday Loves,

I know I have been ghost but I was so busy during the month of November.  Literally, every weekend last month, I was out of town or had events to attend and was not able to get a shoot in.  But here I am so lets get into this look.  I have been loving this two-piece trend lately.  Typically, I am more of a mix & match girl but there are some really cute sets out there.  This one in particular has been all over Instagram and I can definitely see why.  It has so much versatility. Of course, it looks absolutely amazing together, but you can definitely pair them separate from one another.  The shimmery metallic material is what drew me because you all know I love to sparkle and shine...lol.  The pants are wide-leg and for added  interest, a navy, red, and white strip goes down the side.   This set is very comfortable  and warm. Its great for a cool night out with the girls or a date night. Well, I hope you enjoy this look and please comment down below.  I love hearing from you dolls!

Floral Duster Kimono

Happy Tuesday,

I hope the start of your week has been great!  Lets talk about this duster/long kimono trend that has been off the charts for a while.  It seemed like it took forever for me to finally decide on one that I truly like.  Now I know you're probably thinking "Girl, there are so many very nice ones to choose from", but I can be quite particular about certain things or have a certain look in mind.  Low and behold, of course THE best place on earth other than Disney had what I was looking for, TAR-GEE!  Lately, Target has been taking and giving me my life this season.  I knew this duster was God sent because there I was in the school supplies section picking up a few supplies for the kiddos and someone had obviously changed their mind and left it there.  I loved it instantly when I saw and I snatched it up.  Of course, I took that one back and picked up a "fresh one".....lol (mom and grandmother always taught me that).

What caught my eye on this particular one was the colors and the velvet trim. Chartruese is one of those colors that I think can be worn in all seasons.  It is a color halfway between yellow and green.  It's not too bright but still adds that pop of color to your look.  With the bold plum flowers and splashes of pink and blue against it, I just thought this was absolutely beautiful!

Fall 🍁🍂

Happy Hump Day Loves,

I really tried to have this post up on yesterday, but I've been having some technical difficulties..Sorry!  I am so excited that it is beginning to feel like Fall.  The air is getting crisp and all I have been thinking about is Lattes and cozy sweaters...lol  To kick off my first Fall post, I wanted to feature this fab jumpsuit.  If you have been following along with me for a while, then you know I love an ol nasty jumpsuit honey.  They are so easy and simple and can be dressed up or down.   I really love the bohemian vibe of this jumpsuit.  Therefore, I topped it off with this cute canteen style crossbody and chunky heels.

She is truly giving face right here honey.....#sheready..lol

Cherry on Top

Happy Tuesday,

It is officially FALL (insert dance here)!!  I am so excited because Fall is my most favorite season. I know we are gathering  up our pumpkins, apples, cranberries and sipping on our pumpkin spice lattes, and such, but since we've been having some awesome summer-like weather lately, I wanted to end it with  a cherry on top!! 😊 This particular print was constant in style magazines over the summer and I thought it was super cute.  When I ran across this dress while browsing through Romwe, I was immediately drawn to it.  All of my elements in one: My favorite summer fruit, Off-the-shoulder, and a little ruffle detail.....Winning!

The dress was a little too short for my liking, so I wore it as a top with these fitted (and I do mean fitted 😨) jeggings.

Can't you tell that I am in LOVE with this green bag?  I thought it really topped off this look.  You will see more of it this Fall...Sorry not sorry!
